This privacy policy is issued by Commercial & Residential Roof Experts, LLC, doing business as Roof Experts (“Roof Experts, LLC,” “Roof Experts,” “we,” “us” or “our”). We are a roofing and exterior contractor at 4275 Little Rd #202, Arlington, TX 76016.
This policy covers information we collect through roofexpertsllc.com, our lead and inspection request forms, phone calls, emails and text messages. It does not cover websites run by other companies, even when we link to them.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, a limited amount of technical information collected automatically when you use our website, and information others share with us about your property or claim.
Information you give us. When you request an inspection, ask a question or become a customer, you may give us:
- Your name, phone number, email address and property address
- The service you are interested in and a description of the problem
- Photos of your roof or property, if you send them
- Insurance claim details you choose to share, such as your insurance company, claim number and adjuster’s contact information
- Your choices about text messages, including the date, time and wording of any consent you give
- The content of calls, emails and text messages you exchange with us
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Information from others. With your permission, or as part of a job, we may receive information about your property or claim from your insurance company, adjuster, mortgage company or a person you referred us to.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your request and schedule inspections and appointments
- Inspect your property, prepare estimates and contracts, and perform the work
- Document damage and provide records you ask us to share with your insurance company
- Handle permits and inspections required by the city where the work is done
- Send invoices, process payments and administer financing you apply for
- Send service text messages if you opted in, and marketing text messages only if you separately opted in
- Honor warranties and answer questions after a job is finished
- Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
- Protect against fraud, spam and misuse of our forms
- Meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here and in “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, form handling, customer relationship management, email, phone and text messaging platforms, scheduling, payment processing, analytics, and the aerial measurement service behind our instant estimate, which receives the property address you enter. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Your insurance company, adjuster or mortgage company, when you ask us to or when it is needed to complete work paid through a claim.
- Financing providers, if you choose to apply for financing through one of them.
- Manufacturers, when we register a product warranty for your roof or other work.
- Government offices, such as a city permit office, when a permit or inspection requires your property address or other details.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- Business transfers, if Roof Experts is involved in a merger, sale or reorganization, in which case your information would remain subject to this policy.
Mobile information and text messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we collect your mobile number, your consent record and message history to provide the messaging program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share data only with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our messaging platform), who may use it only for that purpose. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.
Giving consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us. Service texts and marketing texts are separate choices on our forms, and both are optional.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to measure how it is used, and to understand which pages help visitors. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, time on site and approximate location based on IP address.
Lead form submissions are counted in our analytics without your name, phone number, email address or street address.
Advertising. We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Our website uses the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure whether our ads lead to calls and inspection requests, and to show our ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing). These tags let Google and Meta collect information such as the pages you view, the ad you clicked, your IP address and device identifiers, and the fact that you submitted a form or tapped to call. We do not send them what you type into our forms, such as your name, phone number, email address or street address. Google and Meta use this information under their own privacy policies.
You can limit ads based on your visits to our website through Google’s My Ad Center, Meta’s ad preferences, and the opt-out pages of the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. You can also ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising using the contact details below.
Maps, reviews and spam protection. Our instant estimate and home page use Google Maps to suggest addresses, show a satellite view of your property and display our Google reviews, and our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. When these load, Google and Cloudflare receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, which they use under their own privacy policies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them.
Calls and recordings
When you call us or we call you about your request, we keep a record of the call, such as the number, date and time. If you opt in on our form, we may call you about your request, including with an automated or AI assistant.
Calls to our office line, (817) 754-9484, may be recorded and transcribed, including calls answered by our automated answering assistant after hours. We use recordings and transcripts to respond to your request, schedule work and keep service records.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. For customers, that includes the length of any workmanship or manufacturer warranty on the work and the period required for tax, insurance and legal records. Consent records for text messages are kept for as long as needed to show that consent was given or withdrawn. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including limiting access to people who need it to do their jobs and using service providers that protect data in transit. No website, email or messaging system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details, such as bank or card numbers, through our website forms or by text.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to keep some information to complete work you hired us for, honor a warranty, or meet legal obligations.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or HELP for help.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Calls: tell us you do not want further calls, and we will note it.
- Ads: use the opt-out links under “Cookies, analytics and advertising,” or ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising.
If you live in a state that gives you specific privacy rights, such as Texas, contact us using the details below and we will handle your request as that law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as the Texas Department of Insurance, city permit offices, manufacturers and review sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will post a notice on our website before the change takes effect.
